The Corrie cast let their hair down away from all the high drama on the famous cobbles as they partied together at Manchester's Science and Industry Museum for a belated Christmas party. Soap favourites have been sharing an insight into their big night out as they enjoyed the first Coronation Street party since 2019.
The spring bash was held next to the old Granada Studios where Coronation Street was famously filmed for over 50 years. And there was a photobooth to capture all the Friday night fun.
Stars including Elle Mulvaney and Samia Longchambon shared some of the images on their social media the following day. Elle, who plays the soap's Amy Barlow, looked stunning in a cut-out detail black dress as she posed alongside co-star Harriet Bibby, who plays her on-screen bestie Summer Spellman.

Elle Instagrammed a transformation video of the pair as they switched from wearing their casual attire into their party wear. She and Harriet, who wowed in a red dress with matching heels and lipstick, donned various hats and posed up a storm with an inflatable guitar in the booth.
And for another set of photos Samia, who plays new Weatherfield councillor Maria Connor, piled into the booth with Mikey North who on-screen hubby Gary Windass and Millie Gibson who plays their ward Kelly Neelan. Smiling in the snap with them was Andy Whyment who plays Kirk Sutherland, Charlie de Melo who plays Imran Habeeb, Jennie McAlpine who plays Fiz Stape and Tanisha Gorey, the soap's Asha Alahan.
Ahead of the bash Andy and Mikey met up for pre-party drinks with Alan Halsall and Jamie Kenna who play love rivals Tyrone Dobbs and Phill Whittaker. Sharing the group snap Andy said: "Pre @coronationstreet party drinks with @alanhalsall @thejamiekenna and Mikey North."
And Georgia Taylor, who is currently at the centre of the soap drama as bride-to-be Toyah Battersby, cheered: "Lads, lads, lads!!!!" The following day Alan, whose character's heart has been broken by ex partner Fiz moving on with new love Phill, confessed to feeling a little bit delicate.
"How I made it here I've no idea," he admitted as he shared a photo of the golf course with nauseous and vomiting emojis. And he issued the jokey message: "Don't drink and golf folks."
At the party he showed the on-screen rivarly is a far cry from his relationship with Jamie who arrived to sweep Fiz off her feet last year. "What a guy" he captioned a photo of the pair together with a hand pointing up at Jamie, whose head was cut out of the snap because of their height difference.
Over on his Instagram Jamie shared a photo of the alternative view showing just the top of Alan's head. Peter Gunn, who plays The Kabin co-owner Brian Packham, posed with Millie, who has had some gruelling scenes on the soap of late as Kelly with the death of her mum Laura and the discovery of her dad Rick's body, and Colson Smith, who plays PC Craig Tinker.
Like many other workplaces the Trafford-based soap postponed its traditional Christmas party in December because of Covid-9. But with coronavirus restrictions now eased it was time for the cast and crew to finally celebrate with the delayed festive party.
