It is officially the hottest day we've ever experienced in the UK with temperatures soaring close to 40 degrees in some parts of the country. Earlier today the Met Office revealed that a temperature of 39.1C was recorded in Charlwood, Surrey, beating the previous UK record of 38.7C in Cambridge on July, 25 2019.
Whilst we are all trying to cope amid the heatwave and cool ourselves off with fans and air con, some of the region's richest residents have the luxury of owning their own swimming pools amongst endless outdoor space.
Many of us could only dream of diving into a cold pool in our home or garden after a sweltering day in the sun, but there are at least six homes currently on the market in Greater Manchester where this dream is a reality.
