A historic two-bedroom flat in a former Benedictine Monastery on the shores of Loch Ness has gone on the market.

Available to purchase for offers over £225,000, 8 Moat House is found in the oldest section of St Benedict's Abbey. Now known as Fort Augustus Abbey, many of the original features remain from when it was constructed in 1880.

The flat is part of The Highland Club development within the historical walls of the former fort, monastery and abbey. Overall, the development comprises 20 acres and offers uninterrupted views over Loch Ness.
