In an exclusive interview with RSVP Magazine, the legendary rugby star and co-founders of natural skincare brand Sofia Juliette Paris, share photos from their special day, open up about their sweet love story and explain their long road down the aisle that spanned several countries, four children and one pandemic.
Speaking to RSVP Magazine, Simon said while the summer weather was not on their side for the big day, it did little to dampen their spirits.
"The day went brilliantly. We didn’t have the weather but we had an amazing photographer and videographer to capture the day," he said.
"It’s a very cosy hotel so the winter weather kind of added to the day in a sense, it was magical out there surrounded by the water. We were up rapping and laughing, singing and dancing all night. It was just a fantastic night with all the closest people to us, we had a blast".
Simon's skills on the field are well-known around the world, however the rugby star is also a talent on the dance floor and a dab hand on the microphone too, talents he was keen to show off on the day.
"The highlight of the day was getting married obviously, but the highlight of the night was myself, Darragh Graham, Rita Lynn, Elvira and Eoin Durham back at the cottage," Simon said.
"They’re all quite musical people, so we had a jam session there after some Guinness and it was amazing. My rapping skills went down a treat and a great night was had".
