Lucy Mecklenburgh and Ryan Thomas are possibly just days away from the birth of their second child - and have embarked on a huge renovation of their Manchester home in preparation.
The former TOWIE star and former Coronation Street actor already have a child together, two-year-old Roman, while Ryan is also father to daughter Scarlett, 13, from his previous relationship with soap star Tina O'Brien.
The couple's second child is due in Spring, with Lucy, 30, telling Hello! magazine back in February: "Our baby girl is due in late spring – we can't wait."
In the weeks and months prior to the birth, they have been transforming their Edwardian home in Manchester and offering their followers glimpses of their project on Instagram.
Lucy was reportedly working hard on creating the perfect nursery and had even set aside a whole floor for Scarlett.
The house boasts a stunning bathroom with a freestanding bath, a playroom for Roman, a spacious garden and a cosy living area with framed pictures of their family on the wall.
Lucy previously a snap of the attic, which has been divided into different rooms with the caption: "Scarlottos floor x".
Speaking on his Mancs on the Mic podcast with brothers Scott and Adam, Ryan said the renovation would allow him to be closer to his daughter Scarlett, who lives in Manchester.
He said: "I know I’ve got Scarlett [who] I have to keep going back and forward for.
"That puts a strain on our relationship because I’m not with her [Lucy] because I’ve gotta get back for Scarlett.
"There is that trying to find a mix of making both work and working out where you’re going to end.
He added: "I think eventually I’d like to be in Manchester with both my kids, but at the moment it’s having that help at hand in London it’s just easier, but I think eventually I would love to be back where I started with all my brothers and all our kids.
"I think that’s what’ll happen eventually but we’re just taking it a day at a time. I think that’s what you’ve got to do with this family life."
