Dr Eva’s Great Escape at the solar Alvura Health Hotel in Portugal airs again on Sunday night as Eva and her husband show off their business.
The programme chronicles the journey that she and business partner Wyatt underwent as they renovated a derelict hotel in Portugal, which they purchased in 2017, and bring their dream vision to life.
It also gives a real glimpse into her family life and that she is now back on the market.

The former medical consultant on Operation Transformation, Dr Eva said she and her engineer husband made the decision to divorce “after years of trying.”
“We tried to go back, we thought this project [renovating the hotel] would help.
“But when the children grow up and leave home, you have more time to start thinking and then you realise that, actually, you are not really enjoying your time together anymore and you would rather do other things,” Dr Eva told Sunday Independent.
She said she is “hopeful” of meeting someone else and that she “will be able to feel I am on top of the world.”
“I do hope and I wish - and I am putting it out there for the universe, like the law of attraction - that I am going to find amazing love and meet an amazing man,” she said.
“I am just thinking I deserve this and I will get it. But, of course, these are things you can’t buy. You can’t go to Brown Thomas and say ‘give me €1,000 worth of love.”
“You can be the poorest person in the world, but if you have love, you have everything. We only have one life.”
Harsh words for kids
Eva is parent to two kids but they don't get to escape from the doctor's medical advice either.
Evan, her youngest son, returned from Finland two years ago and Eva told him that he needs to watch what he eats as he puts on weight easier than his older brother and her husband Wyatt.
She told RSVP Magazine: “Evan is like me, he loves his food. He just finished with the army in Finland in December and he came here to Portugal for Christmas.”
Eva made sure to remind him to watch what he eats, she said: “He was eating everything at Christmas and although he is very fit after being in the army, I said to him, “If you carry on eating chocolates I will have to call the papers again and tell them you have to watch your tummy again!” He knows himself though.”
“He has the same love of food as myself whereas my other son Christopher, the older one, is picture perfect; he doesn’t have a sweet tooth at all and he doesn’t put on weight.”
Evan doesn’t mind when his mother speaks about his weight, she explained: “No, he is used to it all of his life, just like me with my mother. It’s just like saying to your child to put something on so that they won’t get cold, or if they have a sore throat you take them to the doctor – it’s just looking out for them. If you tip-toe around things and ignore bad habits, they can become the norm.”
