Patrick Mahomes and childhood sweetheart Brittany's dream home is finally finished after the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback bought a plot of land in 2021.
The two-time Super Bowl champion and his wife recently sold their first home, a $2.9 million converted ranch house, in Kansas City, Missouri. They had mega plans to build the perfect home and bought land in Cass County, Missouri, to make their dreams come true.
The home is equipped with a giant pool, a large private pond, a par three golf hole and even half a football field, with Mahomes' own personal logo printed on the turf. The house is also as big as you'd expect, which isn't a surprise for the quarterback that's in the middle of a 10-year $475m deal.
A picture of the beautiful house was captured by an eagle-eyed passenger who flew over the property in a plane. It's since done the rounds on social media, but fans are stunned by how amazing their new mansion is.
Life is pretty perfect for Mahomes, as he's just won his second Super Bowl ring, he married Brittany last year, and he's even just won 'The Match' as he and team-mate Travis Kelce beat Steph Curry and Klay Thompson at a game of golf. The 27-year-old is already seen as one of the greatest-ever quarterback talents.
Mahomes met his now-wife in high school, where the pair dated before heading to their prom and later going to college. Brittany has supported Patrick throughout and regularly attends his games at both Arrowhead Stadium and on the road.
But during the offseason, it's been time for Mahomes to focus more on what his wife wants to do, and the Chiefs quarterback took inspiration from Aaron Rodgers. Mahomes took his wife to see Taylor Swift in concert at Arrowhead last week after Rodgers attended a show in New York.
It wasn't easy for Mahomes to seal the deal with Brittany, as it's soon to be revealed on the new Netflix docu-series 'Quarterback' that he was placed in the friend zone. The series is set to explore the lives of well-known quarterbacks, with Mahomes the focus of the first episode scheduled to air July 12.
Mahomes shared details in the first episode, how they met while in the seventh and eighth grades. The future Chiefs star asked her out in his sophomore year and, while spending their first Valentine's Day together, friends started chanting for them to kiss while at the lunch table.
"When they were chanting, I thought it was kind of awkward and it was funny," Brittany revealed. "I was like, 'OK, this guy is actually kind of cute. Maybe I do like him.'
"So then we just started talking and then started dating." And the rest as they say is history, as they're now super successful and share a beautiful home and life together.
