Nicola Peltz finally broken her silence on the swirling rumours of a feud with her mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham.
Over the past few months, speculation has been rife there was 'cold war' between the two following Nicola's wedding to Brooklyn, 23, in April.
The pair seemed to have distanced themselves from each other, with eagle-eyed fans noticing how gushing Instagram posts - which were once so frequent- were few and far between.
Victoria hasn't like any of Nicola's post since May this year, with the actress also being curiously quiet about her mother-in-law on her social media profile.
Nicola, 27, then added more fuel to fire by sharing a number of cryptic teary-eyed posts about "people who bring me down and make my heart hurt" over the weekend.
But Nicola has finally addressed feud rumours, which she believes started when she didn't wear a bridal dress designed by fashion designer Posh, 48, to her multi-million dollar wedding in Florida.
Recalling what actually happened, the Marvel star said: "I was going to and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realised that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress.
"She didn’t say you can’t wear it; I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it. That’s where it started, and then they ran with that".
Meanwhile, Brooklyn insisted things in the fold are fine as he added: "I’ve learned they’re always going to try to write stuff like that. They’re always going to try and put people down. But everyone gets along, which is good."
Brooklyn's reassurances comes after reports Victoria was worried about ''losing her son' as he gets close to Nicola's family.
The Beckhams part-hosted the couple's wedding- but were reportedly not invited to sit at the top table along with their brood.
Instead, Nicola's billionaire father and her fashion model mother took their place.
Nicola's parents were also said to be invited to join her and Brooklyn on their European honeymoon, while the Beckham clan enjoyed a family trip to Croatia at the same time.
"There is a feeling that the Peltz's rather turn their noses up at the Beckhams', the way that they do things and their celebrity profile," the insider told the Daily Mail.
"Meanwhile, the Peltz clan has really embraced Brooklyn. There is a feeling that Brooklyn is now all about the Peltz family and not the Beckhams."
According to reports, the feud is bigger than Victoria and Nicola, with friends describing them as 'collateral damage'.
"It’s not just about two women — it’s two families coming together," added the insider, revealing there are hopes that once everybody 'finds their place' then the two families will manage to connect.
And Posh, it has been said, is desperate to 'make it right' with Nicola amid fears she could miss out on a relationship with any future grandchildren.
