A new Pizza Express restaurant has opened in Speke's New Mersey Shopping Park.
Located next to the main entrance, the restaurant aims to bring the flavours and passion of Italian culture to Speke in a stylish pizzeria with an outside dining area. The signature Pizza Express open style kitchen can be found at the heart of the restaurant and has been updated with a completely new finish - meaning diners can watch as their favourite dishes are created right in front of their eyes.
Customers can enjoy Pizza Express' newly released autumn menu, which celebrates global flavours with an Italian edge. The tikka paneer pizza boasts Geeta’s tikka spiced paneer on a Romana base, served with roasted peppers, sweet red onion, fiery fresh chillies and creamy mozzarella, all topped off with Geeta’s premium mango chutney, cooling coriander yoghurt and fresh coriander.

Diners can also enjoy spicier versions of some of the restaurant's popular dishes, including the Spicy Giuseppe and new Dynamite Dough Balls. The autumn menu also sees a reintroduction of classic dishes such as the Funghi di Bosco, Pollo Forza and Garlic Prawn.
The restaurant is led by Ashley Orme, along with her 30-strong team of passionate staff. Ashley said: "Being born and bred in Liverpool, I'm very excited to see the new restaurant open in a popular location and provide customers with the pizzas they love.
"Our stylish design and outdoor dining area offers the perfect spot for lunch, with the new autumn menu ensuring there's something for everyone to love."
Russell Hall, centre manager at New Mersey, said: "We're excited to announce that we have a number of new brands opening at the centre later this year, including Pizza Express, Yo! Sushi and Hollywood Bowl - all bringing something a little different for our visitors.
"These openings follow the launch of Ninja Warrior in August, which has been a major success so far, particularly with families over the summer holidays. We're looking forward to sharing more information when we're able to and giving people another great way to spend quality time with friends and family."
