We took a look inside Edinburgh's new HMV store which is one of the newest additions to Princes Street and boasts stunning views of the Castle and National Galleries.
The well-loved entertainment store used to reside towards the Lothian Road end of of the iconic street, and was a favourite for decades before it sadly shut down.
So there was plenty of anticipation from locals when they found out that the old favourite would be returning in a new location.

Almost six years after the closure of their flagship Edinburgh store, and 31 years since they first opened in the city, HMV is back in Edinburgh.
The stunning space now resides at the site of the former Gap building, has three floors, the lower ground floor is dedicated to film and television, the ground floor to anime and Japanese pop culture and the top floor is dedicated to music.
The layout of the shop is spacious, fresh and roomy with different music playing on each floor, giving customers a really enjoyable browsing experience.

The three-level retail site has received a transformation, and has loads of cool stuff in store.
The top floor is home to the beautiful balcony style seating area complete with comfy bean bags.
The top floor also houses the music section with an impressive selection of CDs, Vinyl and record players as well as posters and merchandise.
The ground floor has a wide variety of Anime and Japanese pop culture products including Japanese sweets, comics and figurines.
Finally the lower-ground floor is home to all things film and television with plenty of Marvel and Disney merchandise.
The store opened on March 18 as part of a relaunch to celebrate the brand’s centenary after being pulled out of administration in 2019 by Canadian firm Sunrise Records.
HMV Princes Street is open Monday to Saturday from 9:30am to 6:30pm, and on Sundays from 11am to 5pm.
