It is the newest bar and restaurant to open in Manchester city centre - and it's already causing a stir. MNKY HSE is the glitzy and rather opulent underground bar, restaurant and nightclub that bosses say is "about to change the game" on the city scene.
It opened for the first time last week, and has already welcomed through its large embellished doors on Lloyd Street footballers, reality stars and fashionistas. The venue is the second in the UK from the brand that is known for pulling in an A-list crowd at its London, Doha and Riyadh outposts.
Here at the Manchester MNKY HSE there is a restaurant and bar open from 5pm, as well as a separate nightclub that opens later in the night. Both spaces inside the Lloyd Street subterranean venue feature dark and moody lighting, with mysterious portraits adorning the walls.

The restaurant 's emblem of a monkey (it's pronounced "Monkey House" FYI even though there's no vowels) looms large across lattice work windows across the entrance with bright pink neons. And on opening night last Thursday, the Range Rovers and Rolls Royces were bumper to bumper outside.
Over the course of the weekend VIPs and famous faces visiting the venue included the likes of Burnley footballer Phil Bardsley and wife Tanya, Real Housewives of Cheshire star Taylor Ward and reality star Chanelle McLeary. Then on Wednesday night the nightclub space welcomed a huge private party for the city's style crowd as We Shop presented the new Luxe to Kill fashion collection.
A golden monkey head hangs over the main entrance on Lloyd Street, where you walk down stairs to a main reception area, and then on through glass doors to the main restaurant and bar area. Here you can sample the Latin American cuisine with a Japanese influence.
The main restaurant space continues the intricate lattice theme from the exterior, with the signature monkey heads continuing throughout. Then on in to the bar spaces you will find the large golden portraits hanging, and plush blue leather seating.
Be warned, it's all very, very dark to fit with the whole opulent theme. So you might want to get the phonecamera flash setting at the ready for any selfie moments in the lavish bar spaces.
The restaurant is serving a menu created by Mark Morrans, previously head chef at Señor Ceviche London, focusing on contemporary Latin American cuisine with a Japanese influence.
Signature dishes include crunchy tacos, sushi, ceviche, tostadas and Chilean sea bass. The bar in London is famous for its range of cocktails - which it will be replicating here in Manchester.
The restaurant and bar venue is aiming to be the ultimate late-night destination for revellers - with dining from 5pm to 10.45pm Wednesday to Sundy, while the nightclub then opens Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10.30pm to 4am.
The main restaurant space has seating for up to 100 diners including a range of different seating styles from leather booths to more formal dining areas.
Meanwhile there is a separate speakeasy-style entrance to the nightclub space. Here is where the fash pack headed in to sample the live curated music programme on Wednesday night for the We Shop fashion event.
Famous faces included Love Island star Danica Taylor, fresh from announcing she is newly single wearing a super-glam printed bodysuit, alongside her friend Natalia Zoppa wearing a stylish white cropped tea, olive leather mini and white slouchy boots.
Also at the party was model Charlotte Elise Fox rocking an on trend strappy style cut-out dress in grey by Luxe to Kill, teamed with white boots.
Former Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya Bardsley posted a series of pictures after attending the opening weekend, praising her friend Tom Curle who is one of the entrepreneurs behind the restaurant.
She headed to the venue for "date night" with her footballer husband Phil.
She captioned the photos: "Date night with my love @phil_bardsley at the new @mnky_hse in Manchester. It's unbelievable so proud of you @tomcurle."
