Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde have reportedly called off their two year romance and people are already guessing why.
It is said the Hollywood stars are 'taking a break', according to one source who told People magazine the split is due to 'conflicting priorities.'
While both are yet to comment on the separation, the news comes following a mound of stormy speculations concerning the couple and director Olivia's movie Don't Worry Darling.
Wilde, 38, reportedly first met 28-year-old Styles on set of the film, as he was part of the main cast. The pair sparked up a romance while working together professionally on the physiological thriller.
Fans have already been speculating on a potential split, citing a number of different factors. From the couple's age gap, to cheating allegations and tensions with other actors, Harry and Olivia's relationship has certainly been tested.
Below are just some of the reasons why the pair may have called it quits, as reported by the Mirror.
Ten-year age gap
While Harry has made no secret of his passion for an older lady, his decision to date ten years older and mum-of-two Olivia raised eyebrows when first revealed.
Fans questioned if the pair were at different stages of their lives with former One Directioner Harry focusing on growing his solo career and Olivia raising two young children alone after splitting from their father Jason Sudeikis.
Jason is eight years Olivia's senior but this didn't seem to spark the same backlash that Olivia received for dating Harry.
Don't Worry Darling
Plenty of drama surrounded the production of Don't Worry Darling, where the lovers first met.
Rumours emerged that Olivia and leading lady Florence Pugh didn't see eye to eye on set. Fans also noticed at awkwardness at the premiere, with some cast members not speaking a word to each other.
However, some people who worked on the film released a statement to People that read: "As a crew, we've avoided addressing the absurd gossip surrounding the movie we're so proud of, but feel the need to correct the anonymous 'sources' quoted in a recent article.
"Any allegations about unprofessional behavior on the set of Don't Worry Darling are completely false."
They went on to call Olivia an 'incredible leader'.
They added: "We are happy to put our names on this, as real people who worked on the film, and who have witnessed and benefitted from the collaborative and safe space Olivia creates as a director and leader."
Nanny drama
Olivia's ex-nanny recently came out with claims about the beginning of her romance with Harry.
The nanny claimed that Olivia began seeing Harry while she still lived with Jason. Following the nanny's accusations, Olivia and Jason released a joint statement: "As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly.
"Her now 18-month-long campaign of harassing us, as well as loved ones, close friends and colleagues, has reached its unfortunate apex. We will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children with the sincere hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone."
