A tearful and emotional Ellen DeGeneres has brought an end to her hit series after 19 seasons this week.

The talk show host, 64, announced the current season of The Ellen DeGeneres Show would be her last last year, with the final episode airing on Thursday.

Ellen's long-running talk show comes to an end nearly two years after staffers on the show reported a 'toxic work environment on set'.
