Edinburgh's Gleneagles Townhouse has now opened to guests, with pictures giving an incredible inside look at the building's transformation. Bringing its plush interiors and top quality service to the capital, the golfing hotel in Perthshire have now opened their first city venue which has been five years in the making.
Transforming the A-listed building in St Andrew Square, the hotel, restaurant and members club is now open, boasting stunning views of the city. Offering 33 rooms in the hotel, each has been beautifully designed to offer luxury at its finest, giving off an elegant 20th century theme.
Some are even lucky enough to feature stone Juliette balconies looking out over the gardens below, and of course come with all the modern amenities from flat screen TVs to bathroom sinks made from white marble.

However rooms are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the Townhouse, with the Spence Brasserie also open to everyone and sitting beneath an incredible glass-domed ceiling.
Serving out an impressive menu from seasonal produce to breakfasts and even Sunday roasts, the eatery will even provide their own locally inspired cocktails.
There are other dining and drinking locations in the Townhouse, however you do need to be a member or hotel guest to get to enjoy them.
Located on the top floor lies the 'Lamplighters Bar' which has both an indoor and outdoor section, with the roof terrace looking out over the square and over to the Old Town.
Featuring some of the best views in the city centre, members can also admire the vista from inside as they relax in the breathtakingly designed bar.
Other spaces include the Note Burning Room, which is designed for breakfast meetings and brunches, as well as The Telling Rooms , for remote working and a coffee.
Finally, down in the historic former bank vault lie the 'Strong Rooms' and the hotels five-star spa, which will be offering treatments, therapies and use of the sauna and 'cryotherapy chamber.'
Now open for business, rates for rooms at the hotel start from £495, with reservations for The Spence available via the website.
