EastEnders actress Heather Peace is wowing fans with her dramatic storyline involving shopkeeper Suki Panesar.
Eve Unwin is battling to keep her affair with the married mum a secret, but it looks like the cat may be out of the bag after Suki's son Vinny uncovers their hidden relationship.
Happily for Heather, 48, her life off-screen is a lot more relaxed as she comes home to wife Ellie and their three children after a day's filming at Elstree Studios.
Heather and Ellie tied the knot in 2014 after dating for two years before deciding to celebrate their love for each other with a civil partnership.
The Bradford-born actress prefers to keep her private life out of the spotlight, but did give fans a sneak peak at her relationship when she marked her ninth wedding anniversary on Instagram last year.
Alongside an adorable montage of snaps taken from their special day, Heather gushed: “Happy 9th wedding anniversary to my dear Ellie. The love of my life. 9 years married, 12 years together, 20 years knowing you.
“We were an awesome left wing in football and a pretty smashing team now.”
The couple share three daughters, Annie Mary, born in April 2015 and twin girls Jessie and Lola, who they welcomed in June 2017.
The family-of-five live together happily in Brighton - something Heather didn’t think was possible when she first came out, aged 19.
Sharing a picture of her family on social media, she wrote: “Aged 19, coming out was tinged with sadness of never being able to get married and unlikely that I'd have kids.
“It’s not for everyone I know, but for me it left me feeling sad. I could never have imagined this. My little [rainbow emoji] family. Happy #comingoutday #itgetsbetter” which she signed off with a kiss."
In April, the proud mum celebrated her eldest daughter’s eighth birthday with a sweet throwback snap.
Heather captioned the photo: “Happy birthday Annie. 8 years ago today, our first daughter was born.
“I still have to pinch myself that I'm here with my amazing wife Ellie and two more little ones, living a life I had never expected possible when I came out at the age of 19 [three heart emojis, three rainbow emojis].”
When she's not strutting her stuff as Eve and looking after her kids, Heather is a keen singer after her version of Bette Midler’s The Rose reached No. 58 in the UK charts in 2000.
The track was released after her character in London’s Burning, Sally Fields, sang it in an episode of the ITV series.
In March this year, Heather released her latest single, This Love, which is the first song in her upcoming album.
Gaining a flurry of approval from her showbiz pals, the actress' co-stars Lacey Turner and Honey Barton were among the first to congratulate their friend on its release online.
Heather, who went on a nationwide tour last year, has released five albums in total with her latest, Hey Mayhem, dropping in 2018.
