America's Got Talent is returning to our screens for the 18th season of the popular talent show.
Head judge Simon Cowell, who also mans the UK version, Britain's Got Talent, will take to the judging panel with Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Sofia Vergara.
The 63-year-old is well known for dishing his harsh criticism on shows like The X Factor and Got Talent, and remains the only judge that contestants want to impress the most.
Despite his hard-to-impress persona on the show, Simon is a huge romantic in his personal life, and as he returns to American TV, we take a look at his dating history and decorated love life.
Sinitta
Both Simon and Sinitta have had an on-and-off relationship for over 30 years, starting in the 80s. The former couple remained close friends, with Sinitta being named as his son's godmother.
During her stint on E4's Celeb's Go Dating, Sinitta hinted that Simon would have to "vet" any potential partners she found on the show.
"Simon was surprised I was doing Celebs Go Dating," she told The Sun. "He said 'well, anyone they fix you up with I’ll have to vet them.' Simon’s got that protective big brother thing which was very sweet."
Dannii Minogue
Simon once confessed to having a crush on his former X-Factor judge Dannii Minogue.
It was revealed in one of his biographies that the duo had a short fling together during the 2000s. He said: "I had a crush on her.
"It was Dannii’s hair, the sexy clothes, and the t**s. I was like a schoolboy and he was foxy. She was a real man’s girl, very feminine. It was genuine love."
'Harem' of gorgeous women
Simon was well known for hanging around a group of beautiful women, most of which were his ex-girlfriends, who he would send off for luxury holidays in Barbados.
In 2013, Sinitta fuelled the gossip with a cryptic tweet which simply read: "Harem. ;- a Group of women kept together for the purpose of having sex with one man."
But she later insisted that things were strictly platonic.
"We're not all sleeping with him. It's as bad as calling us his b*****s. The girls are all there with partners or as friends," she once told the Daily Mail.
Lauren Silverman
Simon and Lauren met in 2004 during a holiday in Barbados when she was married to her ex-husband Andrew Silverman.
The pair began quietly dating and by 2013 it was later revealed that they were expecting and Lauren had filed for a divorce from Andrew.
Lauren had changed Simon's ways, as he'd previously made it public that he didn't want to get married or have children. In 2014, Eric was born.
Speaking to Kelly Clarkson about becoming a father, he said: "From that moment I saw the scan, I was like 'That is it, I'm besotted.' Now I just cannot imagine my life without him.
"He's the most amazing thing that ever happened to me. I adore him."
Simon finally proposed to Lauren in 2021 and the pair reportedly tied the knot in 2022.
