Sharon Stone stunned fans in her latest bikini snap as she bemoaned about getting 'in shape' at the end of summer.
The Basic Instinct star showed off her toned tummy as she posed in a multicoloured patterned bikini. The 64-year-old looked incredible as she jokingly asked in the caption: "Why do I always get in shape when summer's over?"
Sharon shared the snap with her 3.3 million followers and racked up an impressive 180,000 likes on the post. The actress's latest stunning snap comes after she divulged the secrets of her diet which helps her achieve her impressive physique.
Speaking to WSJ Magazine last week, she revealed her secrets included indulging in a fruit breakfast, swimming laps in her pool, sleeping eight hours every night, doing daily squats and taking baths filled with arnica and Dead Sea salts.
Going deeper into her routine, she told the publication: "My favourite breakfast is watermelon with feta cheese and mint, with olive oil and salt and pepper. And then I usually have a piece of gluten-free sourdough toast with that and a herbal tea."
She added: "'During Covid… I started devising different things that I just did for myself. I think squats are really important. If you do squats every day, that really does get your whole body together."
When it comes to swimming, she confessed her favourite stroke is butterfly as she feels it is a great all-rounder. And she admits her kids push her too as they all take part in planking competitions to see who can stick them for longest.
The actress previously suffered a brain haemorrhage in 2001, which led her to spending spent two years learning to walk and talk again. Sharon later revealed that the terrifying experience gave her a new appreciation for growing older and staying healthy.
"I don't choose to make growing older a negative. I choose to get older. Growing older is my goal." she told The Hollywood Reporter. "I was in an ICU for nine days and the survival rate for what I went through is very low. I don't need someone to make me feel bad about growing older. I'll tell you what makes you feel bad: when you think you might not."
Sharon isn't afraid to push herself when it comes to staying healthy, sometimes working out as much as five days a week. "I work for it. I work at everything. To me, discipline is a kind of freedom," she once said. "Every time I exercise, I do something different based on which areas need to get in motion," she told Shape.
"I drank so little to begin with. But seven years ago, I was training, and I wanted to get really cut up," she said. "I looked at Madonna — we're the same age — and I asked my trainer, 'What am I not doing? Find out what she's doing!' She came back and said, 'I don't think she drinks any alcohol.' So I decided to try zero for three months. And I saw a huge difference!"
