Inside Adele's love life as she 'confirms she's married' Rich Paul at Beyonce's party

Adele seemingly confirmed she had tied the knot for a second time over the weekend, as she wore a gold ring on her wedding finger after joining beau Rich Paul at Beyoncé's star-studded birthday bash.

The Someone Like You singer, 34, did little to quell recent claims of a secret marriage as she was spotted inside her chauffeur-driven car with a striking gold band on her left hand, as she headed into the star-studded bash with her sports agent boyfriend.

Adele - who is relatively private about her love life - originally sparked wedding rumours earlier this year after sharing photos from her LA home as she celebrated her first Emmy success for TV concert, Adele: One Night Only.

While she is yet to confirm or deny rumours of her alleged nuptials, one thing is known for sure - Adele is very loved-up with her partner Rich, three years on from separating from her first husband and the father of her child, Simon Konecki.

The man who inspired Someone Like You

Adele's early experiences of heartbreak did wonders for her career, as she turned her personal turmoil into some of her finest work and created her hit tracks Rolling in the Deep, Set Fire to the Rain and Someone Like You from her second album, 21.

Adele apparently dated a mystery man from 2008 to 2009 and admitted in an interview she would have given up her "career, friendships and hobbies" to be with him prior to the pair going their separate ways.

"He was my soul mate," she told Out. "We had everything – on every level we were totally right. We'd finish each other's sentences, and he could just pick up how I was feeling by the look in my eye, down to a T, and we loved the same things and hated the same things, and we were brave when the other was brave and weak when the other one was weak.

"And I think that's rare when you find the full circle in one person, and I think that's what I'll always be looking for in other men."

The first husband

Adele walked down the aisle for the first time in 2016, when she married Simon Konecki - with whom she shares eight-year-old son Angelo - but the pair eventually called time on their romance in the midst of the singer writing of her latest LP, 30.

In her critically acclaimed album, the mum-of-one explains how she experienced a lot of "inner turmoil" following her divorce and said there were times were she was left "sobbing relentlessly" as their marriage broke down.

When promoting the record last year, Adele was interviewed by British Vogue, where she said how she felt embarrassed by her divorce, but the marriage just wasn't "right for her any more".

"It just wasn’t right for me any more. I didn’t want to end up like a lot of other people I knew. I wasn’t miserable miserable, but I would have been miserable had I not put myself first," she explained.

"But, yeah, nothing bad happened or anything like that. I was embarrassed. I was really embarrassed. That thing of not being able to make something work. We’ve been trained as women to keep trying, even by the movies we watched when we were little. At the time it broke my heart, but I actually find it so interesting now. How we’re told to suck it up."

The fellow musician

Following the demise of her marriage to Simon, rumours began to fly that Adele was dating British rapper Skepta. In September 2019, It was reported that the musical pair - who both hail from Tottenham, London - dated for five months after her marriage came to an end, and that they split in March.

In June 2020, Skepta left a flirty message for Adele in the comments of one of her Instagram posts, causing fans to wonder if the pair were back on.

Reports in October also suggested that they were officially dating, but Adele put the rumours to rest telling fans that she was "going back to my cave now to be the (single) cat lady that I am."

Speaking about dating after her split from Simon and how different it is with her new man Rich, she said: "I did date before Rich, but they hated it. They’d find it stressful being out or seen with me.

"Whereas he’s not frazzled by it at all. It feels like it’s consistent and considerate enough that I don’t care who knows. He’s great. He’s so f***ing funny. He’s so smart, you know."

The rumoured new husband

Rich and Adele, whose divorce was finalised last year, were first spotted in public enjoying a basketball game in Phoenix, Arizona, last year. The pair went Instagram Official shortly after being papped together.

In an August interview with ELLE UK, Adele responded to rumours she was engaged, joking with te publication that she 'might as well be married.'

The Hello singer said: "I've never been in love like this. I'm obsessed with him. I definitely want more kids."

But she added: "Well! Well. Well, I'm not married'. I'm just in loooove! I'm happy as I'll ever be. I might as well be married. I'm not engaged. I just love high-end jewellery, boy!"

According to sources close to the star, Adele and Rich tied the knot in a lowkey ceremony at their L.A home, in a bid to keep their marital status under wraps and out of the spotlight.

"It was an intimate affair with just close family and friends," the insider claims. "Her manager, Jonathan Dickins, was there, as well as her mum, Penny, and Simon's ten-year-old daughter Victoria.

"Adele didn't want any fuss or to go to church. She just didn't want to deal with all the hoopla of a big do and risk people finding out about it.

"The ceremony itself was something they knew they wanted, but they'd been putting off for a long time."

The Mirror has previously approached representatives for Adele for comment.
