In 2009 a £38million shopping centre opened in Sydney and closed just 12 months later.
The Brands on Sale mall in Campbelltown has been left empty ever since and now the site has become an area of interest for TikTokers.
The abandoned building is being explored by social media users showing what the place looks like after being empty for more than ten years.
TikToker and YouTuber @xistfilm was the latest content creator to visit the site.
Taking viewers on an inside tour, @xistfilm offered a sneak peek at the derelict shops.
The video shows some parts of the building in complete darkness.
While some areas are lit up by natural light, many areas of the shopping centre lack any lighting at all giving the place an eerie feel.
As the camera holder enters the building through a staircase he uses a torch to light the way ahead which otherwise wouldn’t be visible.
Inside, walls around the mall are covered in graffiti and broken shards of glass can be seen scattered on the floors.
The apocalyptic scene shows the railings on the first food gone but most shop fronts remain despite being empty.
The video shared on YouTube even takes viewers a little back in time as older products are found in the shops.

While exploring the building the filmer spots Apple accessories on the floor which are compatible with the iPhone 3 and iPad 2, commenting: "Oh my god, these are old as.”
Clips appear to show the shopping centre looking slightly creepy, but the creator says he doesn’t feel spooked in the empty building.
As he explores he says: "It's absolutely nothing like, spooky or scary about this place, to be honest, whatsoever, because it's so new.”
Further into the building the skylight is seen smashed and the door of a lift is bent out of its normal shape.
A number of items litter the floor including a mannequin’s arm.
Despite being empty for so long the building has not yet been redeveloped.
But it was reported last year that the site will eventually be demolished and replaced by 800 homes.
First opening in 2009, The Brands on Sale mall went into receivership in 2010 even though many retailers were operating on the site.
@xistfilm said on TikTok that they don't condone going to abandoned places but asked anyone who does visit to respect the area.
Other TikTokers have visited the shopping centre and as more videos have been created the building appears to be becoming more derelict.
One user commented on @xistfilm's TikTok video: "It’s getting more and more smashed up every time someone posts a video of it.”
TikTokers visiting the site could be encouraging others to explore it too and raising awareness of the location.
But as thousands of people continue to watch the videos there is clearly a huge interest in seeing what abandoned buildings like The Brands on Sale mall look like inside.
