An urban explorer has shared haunting pictures of an abandoned school with one picture showing a creepy message which says "come play with me".
Helenslee House in Dumbarton, Scotland, which used to house Keil School, has been left to rot ever since the school shut its doors in 2000 after a drop in income, Daily Record reports.
The once imposing walls of the 19th century mansion have started to crumble and one photograph shows beams falling from the ceiling as the roof has begun to cave in.
The floor is now covered in moss and debris and trees have started to grow inside the building as nature slowly reclaims the space.
The upper floor is completely inaccessible as the staircase is too dangerous to use.
On one of the walls, a creepy "come play with me" message has been left behind in red paint.
Leeds-based urban explorer Kyle Urbex shared his photographs with the Daily Record and said he stayed inside the former school for around 45 minutes but left due to the dangerous state of the building as multiple floorboards were damaged.
"I decided to go there and explore because of the history behind Helenslee House. It is massive inside and surprisingly tucked away in a little estate," said 25-year-old Kyle.
"You can see how much it has decayed over time. It is quite unsafe inside - especially the stairs. The steps were crumbling away so I couldn't get to the upper floor."

He added: "Trees have started growing into the building. The old classrooms have basically been striped away by damage.
"Everything was covered in rot and decay."
Keil School first opened at Keil House near Campbletown as a technical college in 1915.
After a devastating fire in 1924 it relocated to the 50-acre site on the banks of the River Clyde in Dumbarton before it became an independent school for boys.
It became co-educational in 1978.
Since its closure, the school, which was viewed by some as one of Scotland's leading fee-paying schools, was used as a set in an episode of the TV Detective show Taggart which aired in 1988.
While plans have been lodged for a housing development in 2016, Helenslee House, which originally belonged to the shipbuilding family Dennys of Dumbarton, has remained untouched.
Kyle enjoys photographing forgotten buildings and documents his trips around the world on his Instagram page kyle_urbex.
Some of his recent explores include the abandoned orphanage in Glasgow and an old mill which has been left to rot for more than a decade in West Yorkshire.
