HUNDREDS of students and staff members at Edinburgh University have called for the institute to “immediately divest” from companies they allege are complicit in the genocide in Gaza once again.

More than 200 people attended the rally outside the university’s main library on the anniversary of the October 7 Hamas attacks on Israel to demand bosses at the institute stop using warm words and take action by cutting ties with defence firms.
