Work is ongoing on the inquiry into the error that left major housing development Dargavel Village in need of a second primary school.
An update has been provided on the external review which is being led by a former local government chief executive in David Bowles.
The probe was required after it emerged Dargavel Primary School, which opened in January last year, was too small to meet the needs of its growing catchment area.
