Inquest hears Daniel King, who died in a police shootout, developed brain disease from sport injuries

A coronial inquest has been told a man threatened to shoot a police station in the months before he died in a drug-fuelled shootout in front of a western Sydney police station. 

The inquest is examining the death of Daniel King, 33, who was shot 24 times by police outside Penrith police station on October 2, 2019.
