A new Innis & Gunn Taproom is set to open in Glasgow later this month, and to mark the occasion the brand is giving away 5,000 pints for free.
Innis & Gunn’s new flagship Brewery Taproom on 22-24 West Nile Street will open its doors on November 26, with an ultimate opening night event celebrating the launch. The opening will kick off at 6pm, though it is first come, first served so those interested are encouraged to register.
Guests will be given a free pint of lager upon arriving at the Taproom, where there will be "stage performances, exclusive prizes and giveaways, and limited-edition brews on tap". Innis & Gunn will also be serving up "delicious nibbles" from its new Scottish menu.

Two days after the launch, on November 28, Innis & Gunn will also give away 5,000 pints for free. In order to claim a free pint, you need to register on the Taproom's website.
According to Innis & Gunn, the opening of the new Glasgow Taproom will create approximately 40 jobs. It was given planning permission to convert the premises in April 2022, with a major investment made into the renovations.
The new Scottish menu that is being unveiled at the West Nile Street Taproom will be rolled out across all five Innis & Gunn Taproom venues in Scotland. The brand states that it is "a celebration of flavour; Innis & Gunn’s chefs and brew-tenders have created a delicious menu that complements big beers paired with punchy dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients and fresh produce".
Innis & Gunn founder Dougal Gunn Sharp Commente d: “West Nile Street’s opening represents the next stage in our Taproom plan. The demand for great beers and great food is there in Glasgow so we’re confident our new city centre premises will be a welcome addition.
“We want to give Glasgow beer and lager lovers the full Innis & Gunn experience so we’re kicking off the celebrations with a party on Saturday 28th followed by our free pint giveaway on Monday, 28th. Come on Glasgow, let’s see how quickly we can get through those 5,000 pints!”
The Innis & Gunn 5,000 pints giveaway will run for the duration of the opening period, ending on December 11. To claim the pint, you must register your name and email address on the Innis & Gunn website.
