About 1,643 pairs of INMO Air3 smart glasses sold in the United States are under recall because the left temple, the arm that rests along the side of the head, can overheat during extended use. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall on Sept. 24 and says owners should stop wearing the glasses until the system is updated to software version V3.16.
The company has received 10 reports of the glasses overheating, including reports of a burning sensation on the face and the left side of the ear, according to the CPSC recall notice. The glasses sold for $900 to $1,300 on Amazon, INMO's own website, and Kickstarter from December 2025 through August 2026.
