During the Memphis Grizzlies third consecutive road loss on Monday against the Sacramento Kings, Ja Morant was ruled out for the contest due to left ankle soreness.
Before the Grizzlies travel to San Francisco on Wednesday, Morant has been removed from the injury report and is expected to play against the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center.

During the 2022-23 season, the star point guard is averaging 27.2 points on 46.4% shooting from the floor with 7.9 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game.
In his previous appearance against the Warriors on Christmas day, Morant tallied 36 points on 15-of-29 shooting from the field with eight assists and seven rebounds in 40 minutes.
Prior to starting their current road swing, the Grizzlies cracked off 11 consecutive wins. They’ve since dropped three games straight heading into Wednesday night’s game against the Warriors in San Francisco.
Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. PT at Chase Center on Wednesday night.
