Last week on his podcast “The Draymond Green Show,” the Golden State Warriors All-Star said he was targeting the March 14 contest against the Washington Wizards for his long-awaited return to the court.
On Sunday, the Warriors made it official. Golden State officially announced Green would return to the court on Monday against the Wizards. The former Defensive Player of the Year has missed the last 32 games due to a disc/back injury.

During Green’s absence, the Warriors’ suffered a season-low five-game losing streak. However, the Warriors have recently bounced back with three consecutive wins, including a blowout victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday.
On his way to his bid in the 2022 All-Star game, Green averaged 7.9 points on 53.7% shooting from the field with 7.6 rebounds and 7.4 assists in 29.9 minutes per game. Monday’s contest against the Wizards will mark the first time this season Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Green will suit up and play a game together.
The Warriors are set to meet the Wizards on Monday at 7 p.m. PT at San Francisco’s Chase Center.
