City injury latest on seven players ahead of Brentford
Manchester City will give their injured players as long as possible to be fit for the Premier League trip to Brentford, although Pep Guardiola could not confirm if some of his key players would miss the game or not.
City were without the quintet of Nathan Ake, Ruben Dias, Manu Akanji, Aymeric Laporte and Jack Grealish in the squad, with Guardiola noting that they were all not fit enough. Phil Foden and John Stones were both substituted as a precaution - although Foden has been pictured training on Thursday.
Guardiola did say that no player has been officially ruled out of the final league game, although some are 'half-half'. He said that there are no thoughts towards the FA Cup final next weekend against Manchester United.

Carson's City plan outlined as veteran agrees new contract
Manchester City expect Scott Carson to be ready when called upon, after signing the goalkeeper up to another year at the Etihad.
The 37-year-old has been at City since 2019 and has committed to extend his time at the club for another year after penning a contract extension. He has largely been third choice stopper at the club for his time there, but has extended it into a fifth year.
Praising Carson's professionalism, City Director of Football Txiki Begiristain told Carson that the club want him to maintain his high standards in training, and be ready in case he is needed for another appearance should Ederson or Stefan Ortega be unavailable.
