Injured Musheer Khan set to miss Irani Cup, Ranji Trophy matches after accident

MUMBAI: Talented Mumbai teenager Musheer Khan suffered a fracture in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh. While the details of the accident or the injury are awaited, it was learnt that Musheer was travelling with his father-cum-coach Naushad Khan from Kanpur to Lucknow for the Irani Cup tie when the incident happened.

Musheer's accident is also a big blow to Mumbai, as the 19-year-old is now set to miss the Irani Cup tie against Rest of India at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow from October 1-5, as well as the initial rounds of the Ranji Trophy, which begin from October 11.
