Dublin band Inhaler are gearing up to play their biggest hometown show yet.
The foursome announce a Fairview Park concert for Saturday, June 25.
The band are made up of singer and guitarist Eli Hewson - son of U2 legend Bono - bassist Robert Keating, guitarist Josh Jenkinson and drummer Ryan McMahon.
They released their number 1 album, It Won’t Always Be Like This, last year.
The record, which captures the band's impressive evolution and growth, incorporates sonic textures, hooky choruses and dynamic instrumentation.
Staring off writing soings about girls and the trials and tribulations of love, the band developed during Covid and now make music that reflects society and how to get through tough times.
Eli said of their music: "I wanted the songs to feel positive. It won't always be like this."
Robert added: "We started writing this when we were teenagers and now we’re adults."
The album shares its title with one of the band's earliest and most successful singles. According to Eli, the song's meaning has changed since its release.
He said: "There’s a sense of optimism on this album and the song It Won’t Always Be Like This is the main catalyst for that."
As well as their hometown gig at Fairview Park, the band will embark on a tour of North America in March 2022, before heading on a tour of Europe in April 2022.
Cities like Atlanta and Nashville have already sold out and other destinations on the tour include New York, Chicago, Boston, Seattle and San Francisco.
Tickets for Inhaler at Fairview Park on June 25 go on sale this Friday, February 18 at 9am.
Tickets start at €29.40 and will be available through Ticketmaster.
