An influencer in the UK was reduced to tears after social media users criticised the 'uncommon' name she chose for her baby.
YouTuber Liana Jade shared an emotional response video on TikTok, that got over 6 million views, after the name of her eight-month-old baby boy was made fun of online.
Along with her partner Connor Darlington, they named their child Koazy, pronounced like 'Cosy'.
However, she said that some fellow YouTubers were discussing "ridiculous" baby names in a recent episode of a podcast, and while she wasn't mentioned in the podcast, Liana said she was targeted in the comments.

In the emotional response video, a teary-eyed Liana said: “No hate but you might have seen that [podcast]... I know it's just their opinion but they posted a clip from their podcast talking about people naming their kids new, original names They were saying how ridiculous some of these new, unique names were.”
She went on to explain why they chose the unique moniker for their own baby, saying: "Basically, our baby is called Koazy. And I know it's not everybody's cup of tea but it was a name that we already had.
"And as I was getting so heavily pregnant, people were saying 'he was cosy in your belly' and it kind of like confirmed to us that's what we should name him. I wasn't trying to name him anything for a flex."
Liana claimed that the episode of the podcast invited loads of nasty comments about their baby's name.
"[The podcast] opened a conversation for people who didn't like our baby name to just rip at it. I knew everyone wasn’t going to love the name so I am not going to sit here defending it.," she said.
"Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but it’s just different when there’s this comment section open on such a big influencer’s video of people, fully grown adults, just sat there slandering my baby’s name.”
“I think it’s quite cruel,” the influencer added. “And if I posted that video personally and I was going to express that opinion that I had, I think I would be very mindful of who was being named and how that could have an effect on other people.”
She went on to explain in the comments: "[The podcast] DID NOT mention any names! But the comments had hundreds of comments ripping into his name and my parenting."
Some of her fans jumped to her defence in the comments with on person writing: "Koazy is such a sweet name DONT listen to them xx."
Another said: "I think the name is adorable! My name is Kirby & I LOVE unique names! I feel so special that my parents named me something different!"
Meanwhile, one user wrote: "Ive seen someone call their kid ‘Dishwasher’... so don’t even listen to them."
