What to expect from season 4

This time around, the story picks up with Harper and Yasmin (Abela) pulled into a high-stakes, globe-trotting game of cat and mouse after a flashy fintech newcomer shakes up the London finance scene.

As the season unfolds, Yasmin finds herself navigating a complicated relationship with tech founder Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington), while Harper is drawn into the orbit of the enigmatic executive Whitney Halberstram (Max Minghella).

While Harper and Yasmin remain at the heart of the episodes, they begin season 4 in very different places.

Speaking to the BBC, Myha’la said: “Yasmin and Harper are at the opposite ends of a big line and one's success is the other's imminent failure.

“It feels like a race to the end for them both whilst they still somehow attempt to maintain a semblance of a friendship.”

Abela, who won a BAFTA for her portrayal of Yasmin in season three, has been quick to praise the show’s writers and creators.

Abela said: “The writing is the secret to the show’s success, and having those writers so involved in every step of turning the vision into a reality. Industry has such a clear voice and I think that's what resonates with people.”

Created, written and executive-produced by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, Industry is produced by Bad Wolf for HBO and the BBC.

After a gradual climb in viewership, the show’s third season marked a breakthrough, earning a Critics Choice nomination for Best Drama and cementing its place among TV’s most acclaimed series.

Industry season four is now available to watch in the UK on BBC iPlayer and BBC One.
