Mind-set (2022), an independent feature film, which looks at the pettiness, squabbling and affection within a long-term relationship, will be showing at Nottingham Broadway Cinema on Sunday 19 June, 2022. The film is touring the UK at selected cinemas and will be heading to Broad Street as well as venues in Leicester, York, Birmingham, Brighton and London.
The comedy/drama directed by Mikey Murray won Best UK Feature Film at Manchester Film Festival in March 2022. The film has strong links to Nottingham: Susan Pennington from Nottingham based Film and Television company Spool did post production sound on the film, and Lucy Robbins from Nottingham worked in the Camera Team on the shoot.
Lucy Robbins said of the film: "I loved working on Mind-set and I'm excited that it is playing in my home city. Broadway Nottingham is the perfect place to have a screening of our film as it's such a great supporter of independent cinema."
