Harrison Ford returns as the eponymous hero archaeologist in the fifth and final instalment of the Indiana Jones franchise, called Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, and the first trailer has been released.
John Williams, who has composed the music for every Indiana Jones film since the first, Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981, once again acted as executive producer alongside Steven Spielberg and George Lucas.
Fans are hoping for this last encounter to be more satisfying. The last reboot, Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull, was regarded as a disappointment despite being directed by Spielberg, who helmed the original trilogy.
What is Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny about?
Set in 1969, more than a decade on from the 1957 setting of the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, the fifth instalment features the hero adventurer around the time of the Space Race and the lunar landing.
Jones had started to feel doubts when the US government recruits former World War II enemies in their desperation to beat the Soviet Union into Space. His goddaughter, Helena, accompanies him on his journey.
Meanwhile, Voller, a Nasa member and ex-Nazi involved with the moon-landing programme, wishes to shape the world to meet his particular vision.
The first trailer is now out and the clip includes chase scenes, Nazi bad guys, a gigantic rolling boulder, and Ford galloping on horseback - he was seen shooting in Glasgow last year.
Who’s in the cast?
The new film's cast includes Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who plays Indiana’s goddaughter.
While Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Shaunette Renee Wilson, and Mads Mikkelsen are the other big names involved.
It is not thought that Shia LaBeouf will reprise his role as Indiana’s son, after his starring role in Crystal Skull.

The Dial Of Destiny is due to be released on June 30, 2023.

Ford is 80 years old. He has been acting since the mid-1960s and has built a respectable net worth of around £174 million. He got his big break playing Han Solo in the original Star Wars film.
Harrison is married to American actress Calista Flockhart, who is best known for portraying the lead role in Ally McBeal. The pair married in 2010.
The film will feature scenes of a younger Ford, using de-aging technology.
