  • Veteran Indian political leader Farooq Abdullah narrowly escaped an assassination attempt during a wedding party in Jammu city on Wednesday night.
  • CCTV footage shows a man pulling out a handgun and pointing it at the 88-year-old politician, but security personnel quickly tackled and subdued the assailant.
