Indian-origin expat wins Dh5 million at first attempt in UAE lottery, reveals plans to buy dream home

A 42-year-old Indian-origin expat Murugananth Govinthan struck gold on his first attempt at The UAE Lottery after purchasing his first ticket, which he shared with a close friend. He won 5 million dirham, which will be split among the two.

Govinthan shared that he plans to fulfil his biggest dream of owning a home and moving his family out of their rented accommodation. He added in a statement that he had moved to the UAE due to responsibilities with marriage and children's education and couldn't stop thinking about the same when he won.
