KOLKATA: In another show of Indian players ruling the roost in international chess meets, city Grandmasters Deep Sengupta and Sayantan Das finished 1-2 at the Cap d’Agde International Open tournament in France earlier this week.
Both players finished tied on 7.5 points in this nine-round tournament but Deep prevailed over his junior partner via Buchholz tie-breaker method.
