AHMEDABAD: Middle-order batsman Suryakumar Yadav on Tuesday said he is ready to bowl if Team India needs additional options. Of late, India have struggled to get some overs in from a sixth bowler if one or more of the five frontline bowlers have a bad day at the office.
With vice-captain KL Rahul returning to the team, India have many options in the middle order, and indications are players with multiple skill-sets could be preferred over one-dimensional ones.
