NEW DELHI: After the conclusion of the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the attention of cricket fans will shift to the upcoming five-match T20I series between India and South Africa, starting from Thursday.

As the road to men's T20 World Cup in Australia in October-November this year resumes, India will look to zero in on their squad while offering a chance to newbies to showcase their skills. Here is what to keep an eye on as far as the hosts are concerned:
