India vs South Africa, 3rd T20I: I didn't change anything much but the wicket was good and I played my game, says Ruturaj Gaikwad

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Indian team management backing its players has gone down well with the players. The confidence shown in them has helped the players turn the wheels of fortune and keep the series alive. The players had less than 48 hours to recoup from the loss at Cuttack but they bounced back in style with a 48-run win.

Opener Ruturaj Gaikwad, who was under pressure, took the bull by its horns and gave India a flying start. What did he do differently on Tuesday night? "Nothing. I felt the wicket was slightly better than the last two games. In the previous games, the ball was stopping a bit when batting first. Batting on this wicket was nice as the ball was coming on to the bat well. So, I changed nothing much with my process etc as my thought process and everything else was the same. I felt the wicket here was on the better side," he said with a smile after the match.
