NEW DELHI: The pressure and excitement in the air are in equal measure as the clock ticks closer to the start of the fixture that has always been the most sought after, especially on the ODI World Cup stage where India have never lost to Pakistan.
On Saturday, the two traditional cricket rivals will face-off in front of over one lakh fans at the world's largest cricket venue, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, for the much-awaited round-robin match.
While Pakistan enjoy a better head-to-head record against India overall in ODIs, they are yet to find a way past the Indian team in a 50-over World Cup match.
