NEW DELHI: Paceman Mitchell Starc on Sunday etched his name in the record books as he became the fastest bowler to pick 50 ODI World Cup wickets during Australia’s opening match against India in Chennai.
The Aussie seamer achieved the feat in 19 innings, surpassing the previous record held by Sri Lanka's Lasith Malinga who reached the milestone in 25 innings.
