Gill's stellar form in recent ODIs has made him a key asset for India, but he is now a doubtful starter for Sunday's match due to health issues, possibly related to dengue fever.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not officially confirmed the nature of Gill's illness, but the situation is being closely monitored.
