NEW DELHI: India on Tuesday reported 796 new Covid cases and 19 deaths.
The death toll in the country has now reached 5,21,710. The active cases have declined to 10,889, which is 0.03 per cent of total cases. With 946 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the total number of patients who have recovered has reached 4,25,04,329. The recovery rate currently stands at 98.76 per cent.
The daily positivity rate has declined to 0.20 per cent, while the wekly positivity rate stands at 0.24 per cent.
India has so far conducted 79.45 crore Covid tests and administered 185.90 crore vaccine doses, under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
