NEW DELHI: India on Tuesday reported 3,230 Covid cases and 32 deaths. The number of cases reported is lowest in over 3 months.
The death toll in the country has reached 5,28,562. The 32 deaths reported in the last 24 hours also include 22 deaths reconciled by Kerala. The active Covid cases in the country saw a slight decline and settled at 42,358. Currently active cases comprise of 0.10 per cent of total cases.
With 4,255 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the recovery rate has reached 98.72 per cent. The total number of patients who have recovered from the disease in the country is 4.40 crore.
The daily Covid positivity rate in India is 1.18 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate is 1.58 per cent.
The country has so far conducted 89.41 crore Covid tests, of which 2.74 lakh tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
A total of 217.82 crore Covid vaccine doses have been administered. Of the total doses, 94.79 crore are second doses and 20.56 crore are precaution doses.
