India rally to outplay Kuwait 62-51 for first win in U-18 Asia Cup basketball

NAGPUR: Indian cagers rallied superbly to register a thumping 62-51 victory over Kuwait and record their first win in the FIBA U-18 Asia Cup after suffering two loses at Jordan on Wednesday.

A day after they fought bravely and came close to upset Iran, Asia's second-best outfit, before losing 53-70, the determined lot of Indian cagers recorded a facile 11-point victory over lower ranked Kuwait.
