NEW DELHI: India was and remains an important stakeholder in Afghanistan and its special relationship with the Afghan people over centuries will guide New Delhi’s approach, NSA Ajit Doval said on Friday while addressing the 4th regional security dialogue on Afghanistan in Dushanbe.
Nothing can change this, Doval added, as he highlighted the fact that India has already supplied 17,000 MT of the promised 50,000 MT of wheat to Afghanistan through the land route with Pakistan along with 500000 doses of Covaxin, 13 tonnes of essential lifesaving medicines and winter clothing and 60 million doses of polio vaccine.
