NEW DELHI: With the Indian women's team facing a lack of sufficient red-ball exposure, vice-captain Smriti Mandhana has highlighted the efforts of her younger teammates to seek guidance from the new head coach, Amol Muzumdar, in order to transition into a red-ball mindset ahead of the upcoming one-off Test against England.
The Indian women's team last played Test cricket two years ago, participating in a couple of Tests in England and Australia in June and September. Both four-day games ended in draws.
