India Attacks Pakistan As Fears Of Wider War Between Nuclear Powers Grow

India attacked Pakistan on Wednesday, escalating tensions between the rival nations.

India launched a military operation against Pakistan on Wednesday, weeks after five armed militants killed 26 non-Muslims in the 2025 Pahalgam attack in Kashmir.

Officials in India said it targeted nine sites in Pakistan and Pakistan administered-Kashmir that it deemed "terrorist infrastructure." The two nations have a long-running dispute over Kashmir.
