NEW DELHI: Middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer has made a welcome return to Team India during an optional practice session, gearing up for the Asia Cup Super Four clash against Bangladesh. This comes after Iyer had to sit out the previous Super Four stage encounters due to a back spasm.

Iyer had earlier featured in India's Group Stage games against arch-rivals Pakistan and Nepal in the Asia Cup. He managed to score 14 runs against Pakistan.
